Weaving Log Cabin

Log Cabin is one of my all time favourite weaving techniques. It can be bold and striking, or subtle and muted. It is a playground for contrasts of both colour and texture.

In this short course, you will work at your own pace to create four cotton placemats. I will take you through the steps of planning your warp and calculating your material requirements. I will show you how to read a threading draft and apply it and explain how a drawdown works.

Basic weaving know-how, tips, tricks and a couple of little hacks to make your lives easier are all in there!
