Open Weaving weekend and specialist workshop – October 2022
I’m delighted to announce the dates for my next open weekend and weaving workshop at the beautiful Remhoogte Mountain Lodge in Skeerpoort, October 2022
Thurs 6th – Mon 10th October
This will be an open weekend. Bring what you are working on, and work in the company of other passionate weavers, or request a specific focus, and I will be there to help and guide you through the project or technique of your choice.
Come for one day, or come for them all – the choice is yours!
Thurs 13th – Sunday 16th
A four day, intense study of double heddle weaving on a Rigid Heddle Loom.
This will be an in depth study, and runs over the full four days. We will explore how to use a double heddle to change your sett, double weave, and double width weaving, reading a simple draft, and an introduction to weaving twill structures on a Rigid Heddle loom.
So much to learn – so little time. Hope you will join me for this roller-coaster of a ride!
